It is about equivilent in HP to 4th level armor and sheilds, but the reason you take it is there are fewer weapons that do bonuse damage to hull, and it can combo with regenerative hull tissue. that struck me while rereading all our Tiyanki-related content was that killing them allows you to research the Regenerative Hull Tissue, but their superior healing abilities don’t have any. - Armor and Shield Hardeners have been reworked. Shields require power to use, so if you do not have Regeneration hull, you only get 1-3 Regen per day. Each ship should have a range band where it wants to stay at, and choose weapons accordingly. The tradition costs penalty being multiplicative, the AI not getting pirates, the endless colossus CB spam, the enigmatic fortress, the original/2. 365 days just comes to a meager 365 hull and 730 armor.
